Pope Francis is thoroughly Ignatian in his outlook

About William Ockham

I am a father of two with eclectic interests in theology, philosophy and sports. I chose the pseudonym William Ockham in honor of his contributions to philosophy, specifically Occam's Razor, and its contributions to modern scientific theory. My blog (www.teilhard.com) explores Ignatian Spirituality and the intersection of faith, science and reason through the life and writings of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (pictured above).

Indeed, William, indeed. Still let’s continue praying for him and all that he is called to do. Too much celebration may be as much nuisance as too many caustic putdowns…
Now if we all can do what he asks us to do 🙂

That is indeed great news! Now we all need to continue to do our best to follow the path that Jesus has laid out for us so that the world will see that Our Holy Father is not an anomaly but rather a Christian who takes his calling seriously. May we all take our calling to be Christ-like seriously.

“Habemus Papam Franciscum.” I have enjoyed watching Pope Francis, and have also had so much of St. Francis in my life this year (see: http://soulgatherings.wordpress.com/2013/08/12/my-pilgrimage-to/ ). I send you and Pope Francis my blessings…
