Good article on the inherit tension of the Catholic Church. It is a part and parcel of being human and part of being a large organization. As Stephen from the blog “The Domestic Monk” says: “The church will always be more traditional than the traditionalist, and more modern than the modernist.”

Yes, “the Church will be almost universally misunderstood” but so was Jesus. It is not easy to hold together these two options, but you are correct in saying that this is part of being human and, of course, it is part of being a large organization. Yet, in the midst of all of this, there is our loving God. Thanks for pointing us to this article.
